272 Horsepower with 400 of Torque at 3000 r/min, 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine is available on the Jeep® Wrangler and is equipped with Engine Start Stop and eight-speed automatic transmission. The system blends performance-enhancing and fuel-saving technologies to optimize powertrain effectiveness and efficiency.
When four-wheel power is required, the Command-Trac® 4×4 System with an NV241 GII transfer case, standard on Sahara and Overland, shifts into action to help you get through with ease. Command-Trac is a proven shift-on-the-fly system, with a 2.72:1 low range for rock crawling, and neutral for available flat towing. It’s the ultimate way to experience fun and the freedom to go wherever adventure leads.
The Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon is equipped with front and rear Dana® 44 axles to make it stand out from the crowd. The axles are beefed up with thicker tubes and forgings for superior strength, rigidity and durability.
Wrangler Rubicon is equipped with Tru-Lock® electronic-locking differentials. The instrument panel rocker switch can activate the rear or both axels for ultimate traction.
This Rubicon-only system lets you automatically disengage the sway bar when driving under 18 mph in 4LO mode. It allows the front wheels to drop and compress up to 25% further to tackle the most challenging terrain.
The capable Jeep Wrangler can tow up to 2,495 kg so you can trailer all kind of gear. With standard Trailer Sway Damping you’re ready to tow and go.
